Another intimate view of wildlife.  I loved the way his tongue peeped out when he was scanning the area to check on the rest of his family.

Beautifully done, Carol. The detail is incredible. Was this done with a Canon 10D? If so, what say those "we need more megapixels" folks? :D :D

Thank you Bruce.  Yes, this was a few years back and done with a 10D.  My other camera is a 40D!  I don't have megabucks to spend on megapixels!!! :D

I agree with you about the megabucks/megapixels. I think I might have heard somewhere that the photographer is more important than the camera.=)

Stunning portrait, Carol. Love the faraway look on his face, and the gorgeous light. Your love for the lion shines through again as does your wonderful eye for a certain "look"-so appealing and intimate.

YOUR capture of that face at such close proximity allows us the chance to run our eyes over and over the eyes and variations in fur lenght an colour and so much more - things we rarely get to do in video. What a study! AND yes that pink tongue does make it.

AND wonder what he was thinking about.....
