Cape Buffalo having a secret conversation in late afternoon light.

Watching a herd of Buffalo I found these two as they appeared to be having a secret conversation all on their own - about what, I don't know.  :)

Hi Carol

Lovely light - such amazing animals - pure power - not to be toyed with - just look at those massive horns.

My guess is they were debating which waterhole offered the best sundowner....;)

Best for 2018

Very nice Carol-dark beasts are hard to pull in but you can feel that warm light surrounding.

Sweet -- animals, light, composure and details. Probably remembering the good old days when they were young and carefree......

What a fantastic shot Carol...  Such gorgeous light...  I'm gonna take a different shot on this, being as the bosses suggest a couple of males.. one old boy and his follower..

I'm running with..... it's just so hot here, do you mind if we wait a bit for that sundowner... cold beer be better..   LOL.  Apologies for my abstract mind.

Seriously, one that is immensely enjoyable with killer light.  all you could wish for...

All the very best for 2018 Carol!

Big congratulations on EP- such gorgeous lighting-really an enchanting photo-as usual, you captured an expressive moment, as all the guesses about it tell. Perhaps they were aware that someone very special was our there taking their picture. :).
