Can see why you like this Mark.  Aren't they just lovely with their interaction and busyness.  You've captured that essence.  Not being picky as this comment doesn't have much clout but a bit of ccwr seems right to my old eyes.

good details  on the crop Mark.  Have you got your grip yet.  Been researching as there now are after market grips coming on.  one's to watch out for are those that will take the EN-EL 18 series via the BL-5.  (seems to give the 9fps, but not the Pixel as it doesn't take an EN-EL18 battery...seems critical to be matching the BL-5,  which I also have on my D800, so I get that).

I was offered the Nikon grip, so I jumped on it. I have used the Vello grips in the past with no problems, and would have done it again on the D850, but I wasn't sure when they would be ready for sale. I already have the D4S batteries (1 spare) and the battery charger, so that was a no-brainer for me. Yes, I got the BL-5 when I got the grip. So far, no problems.

I have to agree with Dave on the apparent tilt down to the right, but you've done a great job popping these wonderful otters from their busy setting!

These guys just look like they're up to no good! What a fun capture, really getting at the essence of what it's like to watch them. The nice warm fall colors are a bonus.

I guess we'll just have to disagree this time - I lined up the grasses on the left side and the first stick on the right side with the reflections in the water, and they appear to be pretty darn close to level to me. If they are off, it isn't by a heck of a lot!

I love this , Mark. It's so entertaining with all their expressions and various poses. They look like they're about to embark on an adventure-so inqusitive- -perhaps up to no good!
