Following on from my thoughts on the Warts... Thank you Carol.  This female not having warts, has a clear scar on it's face.

Adds emphasis to the protection theory.  Aberdares.  Treetops. Kenya.

Full frame.  D300 and 500 AF-S.  Appreciate I might crop differently, but like the space.   Please feel free to click on image to view uncompressed.  Bit tight at the top..  Could add some canvas but is clone free and right now I have a Bum shot in the bag so please do not ask to see if sensitive.
Make your life spectacular!

Nice behaviour shot with lovely detail Dave, they do love their water/mud drink and wallow!  I'll bet she wishes she'd got some nice big warts to protect that beautiful face..... :)

Now that you mention it, a vertical crop might have been interesting but this one is lovely too....wart or no wart.

That is one nasty scar, Dave. The detail is top-notch.

Very nice David, the reds stand out so well against the dark background here. The comp is fine imo.
