Scenic Buck

I was hoping to find a much larger buck that was in this area but in the end I resolved this buck worked just fine.

CANON 7D, CANON 70-200 F2.8, 1.4X TC, 280mm, 1/1600, F5.6.

I don't think there is such a thing as a much larger buck.  I mean, sure, there are bucks with much larger antlers, but this here appears to be a fully mature buck with the bulk and musculature throughout the body that is typical of full grown bucks in good condition.  

It's bucks like this guy that place rather high in the hierarchy of the herd, and that get to do a lot of the breeding - and antler size doesn't matter much when it comes to those things.

Really sweet image!  I like the way that your depth of field allowed the mountains to be rendered as they are.
