Wonderful pose on the diagonal branch -- a fine night time image of the fox.

I have a fence in yard that top is made of 2" pipe - I had oranges out on top of fence that kept disappearing at night - figured it was a raccoon or even one of the skunks -so I put up game camera and I got image of Gray Fox tight rope walking a 2" pipe

Nice shot by the way - do your foxes come around in daylight - mine have started showing up and they eat the bird seed scattered on ground

Excellent use of flash. Love the head turn.

The female will come in daylight hours when she has cubs but once they have grown she becomes very shy

Not quite sure why there appears to be a ghostly outline of the tail behind the real one? but that's my only tiny nit in an otherwise very nicely done capture Dave!

Thats not a ghostly outline, the tail is black at the end and along the length, Maybe a flash behind the fox would light that up, I will try and see

Beautifully composed and executed image. The colors on the fox really pop off that dark background. I like the diagonal position of the log and you captured a solid pose.
