This Spirit Bear image was taken in the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia. He climbed up on the log to get a better view of the spawning salmon. Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

A wonderful pose overlooking the stream, excellent composition, and gorgeous native habitat. Very well done, Jerry.

Excellent background detail and color while pulling all the shades of white and fur detail from the bear. Great job.

Absolutely lovely image. I really like that you went wider on this and included the habitat, especially with the bear perched up on the log. It gives context and story, as well as just being a beautiful scene. I think my heart would've been racing when the bear climbed up there!

Absolutely magical! In the larger version I see the bird at the bottom too-a wonderful addition to the story.   This belongs in a storybook!
