One from a few years back.

We had been watching a pair of lions mating for several hours but I was more intrigued by the expression on the face of the lion as they lay down to rest in the heat of the day.  He gazed at his lioness with a look of what I can only describe as wonder and amazement.  :)

The look on the males face says it all - priceless. Beautiful capture, and as Dave points out it was at the decisive moment. Fantastic image!

What brilliant expression the lion has, captured in such sweet light and a great eye contact.

Congrats on this stellar image Carol.

Such a wonderful expression captured. I like the framing too as it tells the story.

I amazed by YOU, Carol! You always get the most wonderful animal expressions, as if you can somehow read their minds. (Maybe you can....). Lovely shot.
