Sitting in my blind all camo'd up for photographing hawks (hense the camera settings) this Bobcat walked by carrying a Northern Bobwhite quail. Right place at the right time. Pure luck.

What a great opportunity and capture, Alan! Beautiful light and pose, and it's wonderful we can see the eyes on both the cat and quail. Excellent image!

wow.. Alan, right time, right place, and all that luck has nothing to do with the time and effort you spend.... lol... funny that.  the more effort you spend, the luckier you get.  (in my way , am just taking my hat off to you in recognition of repeated, and consistent stellar images...).. one to aspire to.  love that wild eyed look on the Bobcat.  The Bobwhite however, looks distinctly unhappy with this turn of events.
Make your life spectacular!

Tastes just like chicken...superb shot. We rarely see our Bobcats unless they are on the backs of stylish ladies.
