Sani Pass Lizards

I photographed this displaying male lizard on the top of Sani Pass between South Africa and Lesotho a few years ago.  I don't know the species so if anyone is familiar with it, let me know.  You can see the ouf of focus female in the background. Full frame.

Can't help with the species, but it certainly is an attractive one. Nice pose that captures the dewlap as well as the colors and textures.

I'm not 100% sure Nate, but it could be a Drakensburg Crag Lizard. They are known to sun themselves up on Sani Pass, and the head and colours look right.

Very nice image of this displaying male!
