I went for a tighter crop to eliminate the backside of another Zebra.Taken in the Stanley and Livingstone game reserve, Zimbabwe.
I was told that the reason for the foal having longer legs than its parents, is that it allows them to run nearly as fast as a fully grown Zebra, which is a good thing considering the environment they live in:)

Sweet image of this very new little one sticking close beside Mum. If you have more room on the right I wouldn't crop quite so tight as the tail is clipped, but otherwise I like the square format for this image.

The little foal is the eye catcher here Peter, I just wish the mare had lifted her head and there was more room all round but still a sweet image as is.
