Wild Horse - Lower Salt River Basin, Arizona
Early morning in the lower Salt River Basin photo of our very own wild horse herd that was discovered back in the 1950's. These are hearty horses that survive in the scrub desert area near the Salt River which they use as a source for drinking water and cooling off in the 145 degree temps that they are subjected to under full sun in the summer.D810, 24-70mm @ 70mm, ISO 400, f/8, 1/640 E.J.
