These are Key Deer that are endemic to the Florida Keys and endangered.  They are a sub-species of White Tail Deer.  The Bucks are about 30-inches tall and about the size of a German Shepard dog.  I found these 2 on Sugarloaf Key in a residential neighborhood.

"The size of a German Shepard Dog" you say, amazing! I did not realize they were so small. Great job of finding this pair of bucks together so you could photograph them in a single frame. The light is a little contrasty, but the poses and details are very nice. :)

Difficult light to work with and a shame there is so much vegetation in front of their faces but interesting to see!
