Cheetah chasing a hare

As it happened around 11:45AM, the light was very harsh.. hence converted it to B&W.
The hunt was a successful one.. it was a great sight to watch the quickees of the grassland..

D4, 500mm + 1.4xTC
ISO 400, f8, 1/2000 shutters
Masai Mara.

Perfect head on perspective to capture the action here Clement, it really shows the agile body swerve and the counter balancing tail. Great shot!

Wow! An amazing capture, great work! Fantastic to have the action coming right at you.
Also, makes the case for not putting the camera away during the middle of the day!

Outstanding image. Love the way the tail swings to control and balance the quick changes in direction at high speeds.
