Brown Bear VS salmon fish.

Photographed a week ago in Kamchatka. I would like to share with you a phenomenon that in my opinion is very special. I try to think logically and I find an answer to the fact that the salmon that was bitten by the bear, his jaws was locked on the other fish's tail. If anyone has any other explanation I would be very happy to know.

Canon 1Dx mark II 400 mm DO Mark II with TC1.4 HH.
1/500 F8 ISO1250 Almost a whole frame.

The action is so intense at spawning time with the females fighting each other for the best nest sites, and the males fighting over the females. It looks like these two were so busy with their battle that they forgot to watch out for the bear. A great capture for the bear and you Haim!
