I came across this image from last year when I was looking for certain songbirds in my day by day subdirectories.
Thanks for looking.

Well, songbird it isn't!  It is however a beautiful capture of this industrious masked bandit busily searching for tasty morsels along the water's edge.  He has obviously paused for a minute to check you out, but those little front paws are just poised to resume probing and digging in the weed and shallows.  I love this one Karl!  :D

Sweet, Karl! Love the expression, and the big fluffy tail. Glad you found this among your birds, to share.:)

Karl, it isn't easy to get these guys attractively posed, but you did it here! Love the setting with the water in the background and the tail showing. Well done!

Nice find and quite a cooperative model. I like that we can see the tail so well.

I really like this, the tail pointing forward, as well as the inquisitive stare make this one!

The Raccoon looks guilty about something!
The detail is great, and I like the two green leaves on the right. Not sure why and I bet some folks would clone them out.
Nice shot.

The masked rascal at work, caught in the act! Yes that tail coming around on the right side really adds a lot, as noted. Love this.
