Spooky - harbor seal

A more 'spooky' capture of a Harbor seal as he/she checked us out whilst scooting along the shoreline in the zodiac. With an almost ‘hi key’ look & feel to the image, it may look rather sinister to some. Personally a tad more DoF so both eyes and nose are sharp would not have hurt, but light wasn’t quite on my side, so happy to get the eyes sharp. SS needed to be high because of shooting from a moving zodiac, however if it was the MKII then I may have upped the ISO even more without hesitation to have gained the DoF.

I think this is really fascinating- what a different and engaging view-really unique. Interesting-the reflection makes it a little spooky but those big eyes are sweet.
