Cute pose with the rear feet off the ground. Nice light through the ears, is it backlight? Why are his ears so tattered, fighting, age?

Ron, I believe the ears get tattered and torn from fighting with other males, and from running through brambles.

That bunny has seen some better days! Nice head-on perspective from the low angle helps to emphasize the ragged ears. I like this as presented, an alternative cropping to a vertical would work here too I think.
