Totally charming- love the setting and their expressions. I have not seen this much variation in color-is the dark one much younger?

Cindy,

There are several Red Fox color morphs present.  The father was red and the mother was silver.  When they are very young it's hard to tell what color they will end up, but at this age, 7-8 weeks, the reds will stay red, but the black foxes will either develop silver guard hair tips and be Silver Foxes or stay black (rare).  I could see silver tips starting on some of the black one's faces already.  I also photographed 2 foxes in this family that were grey, which was a first for me.  A search for "Red Fox" on Wikipedia will explain the colors better than me.

Lovely setting in the flower meadow and great interaction, frozen perfectly Bob! The colour variation adds a lot to the cubs playtime.
