Dad was giving his son a lesson in table etiquette. In fact this pride male was far more tolerant of junior cutting in than any of the females with cubs.
They were dining out on this buffalo they had killed at sunset the previous night. Very honoured to have a portfolio of my images which included this one, used in the upcoming Owen Prumm and Terra Mater Factual Studios 3 part film documentary called "The Lions Rule" which will air on Nat Geo Wild in the future. http://www.terramater.at/productions/the-lions-rule/ I got to know Owen quite well whilst residing in Ruaha's dry season for the last 6 years filming lions and I was most fortunate in playing a small part working with him & the BBC last year in providing images for their respective projects. Ruaha Nat Park- Tanzania. Nikon D5 Nikkor 400 f/2.8E FL VR f/5.6 1/1000s ISO1800 Slight crop for comp, bean bag- front pax seat, curves, levels in ACR & PS CC '17. Cheers Marc |
