Quite a strange effect with the head coming through the leaves like that, almost like its floating away from the body! Excellent detail on the head but I wish the tongue was sharp - I'm guessing the blur is due to the flicking, sensing movement.

Very nice portrait of this snake! Very interesting texture in the head area, and particularly in the eye.

Interesting patterns and colors on the snake, which stand out well with the super shallow focus. Compositionally, I find this stronger with the top cropped off to just above the top of the yellow leaf.

Thanks Cindy - I'll work on it.

Quite an unusual look at his head. Agree with cropping suggestions.
Quite a bit of noise, which could be easily reduced.
Cool!
