Leopard with Hog Deer Kill

D500, 500mm + 1.4xTC
ISO 1600, f5.6, 1/125 shutter
The story behind this shot is, in the Dhikala Grasslands at Corbett National Park, the first time a Leopard has been seen in the last 25yrs.. I was the luck one to see it :-)
A very distant shot.. shot at late in the evening..

A leopard with a kill in Dhikala in the open is akin to getting a Jackpot. Amazing indeed.

He must have been very hungry.
Excellent image - you overcame some major obstacles to get a great image.
The pose, bloody jaw, all BG are work great.
Fine image, even if a bit soft from the distance factor.
