One of three species we set out to photograph in Indonesia. This prime looking male is about 13-15 years and at a guess about 8 to 9 feet in length. Under the watchful eye of an experienced guide, I crept up to within a few feet of this resting giant to get a wide, intimate shot.

D500, 18-35mm, flash.
