Took this in Kenya a while back.  Is full frame and the first time i have shown. By now you may know me for looking for something different.  a story.  something that says a story about what we are viewing.  Ground level hide in Kenya.  Struck by the details in the tusk which tells a huge story...next post... D3 and 300 F2.8 IS.  1600 Iso.  1/500 F4 -.67.  Full frame processed as felt to produce what I saw.  Processed to retain the dark.  Important points for me were the blue lines... a story follows

A wonderful and intimate view of an elephant's tool kit! The tusks and trunk that enable them to do so many things, both singularly and together, and at the same time make them so vulnerable to man's stupidity and greed for the price they bring. A poignant capture Dave.

Truly creative thinking, Dave! Love the lines and detail in the tusk and look forward to the story.
