Bosque Del Apache, he was chased by a flock of about 10 Sandhill cranes as he made his way through the water. He did managed to get away with a Goose at the end.

Great shot with nice colors and silhouette! I once saw one at the crane ponds stalking some Sandhills in the pond when I was just arriving. He was heading out into the open water where he would be a perfect shot. While I got my equipment ready, my wife shooed him away so he wouldn't get the cranes! That's why I like to shoot alone!!!

The warm, golden tones in the water are the perfect backdrop for the coyote's silhouette. Very nice!

Cracking silhouette! Love the mood given by the reflected light in the water.

Excellent silhouette, with separation of legs, ears and tail which helps so much with a silhouette. Love the colors.

Nicely done Ray, the golden water and light makes for a beautiful setting for the coyote silhouette, and even better with the implied movement of the legs. Lovely mood captured.
