As we had packed away our kit and 'yomped' back to the skiff, these two reindeer suddenly surfaced from the shoreline which was below the land and so it was rather a scramble for all of us to get some kit out of our bags, frame & shoot. Should have puled out the 200-400 for flexibility, but no time to think - kneeling down.

This is very nice like the unison in the reindeers movements.. Tad tight and I know you realize that but made due with what you had and that's all we can do at times... Love it!

Given the situation and opportunity, I'd say you made the most of it. This is an attractive setting, good poses, and the soft light is pleasing. Getting down low was also a good move, both from the perspective and for the background.

It may be slightly tight, but great perspective and poses from these two. Looks like you made the most of the situation on short notice.
