Good job on your 1st post. Nice light, great subject. OOF vegetation on right a bit distracting but overall I like the image and the inclusion of habitat.

I tried a vertical crop but that was worse than including the OOF tree limb. I wanted to retain that leading area in the image. I decided to go with it as it shows. The moose was in the shadows for about 1/4 mile and as he came closer to my position, I realized he would come out into the light and be at the waters edge. I could see this image before it happened. I was able to capture a couple of other shots of him which are very nice. It was a good morning. Images captured at Schwabachers Landing in Jackson Hole.
