 Nikon 200-500 mm Photographed in Valparai, Tamil Nadu, South India. We looked at the endangered primates, who had ashy grey mane and a very glossy black coat. They were lost in their own world, blissfully unaware of the dangers that face them. There are barely few hundreds of them in the Anaimalai hills. The locals, NGOs and wildlife conservationists are striving to protect these species in this pristine environment. We met two forest guards who track them and ensure the vehicles move slowly to avoid them getting run over by speeding vehicles.
