Harp Seal - Gulf of Saint Lawrence
EOS 1D Mk IIn, 70-200mm @ 92mm, ISO 200, f/14, 1/250

Who doesn't love baby Harp Seals? (a rhetorical question - I know all about the clubbing :( ).  Since y'all liked the last one, thought I'd close out the year with just one more recently reprocessed one - it's absolutely amazing how much more detail there is with modern RAW converters  :)

Just illustrates how good the original was all those years ago. No harm in reprocessing with more up to date Software, as it's come on so much since the days of the original PS/CS2, Capture One, DPP... and does massive amounts of px help?

Nice one.

Love the extra detail in this one E.J. ...and what may I ask did you use for the RAW converter on this one? I'm guessing the new On1?

No, that one is not ready for primetime yet.  I convert everything these days with Capture One Pro v. 10
