Early morning in Colorado.

I love photographing Elk, so vocal and so active.

This image was very early in the morning and colors just did not
do justice-hence the BW conversion.

Nice job on the black and white conversion, Terry. Great pose capturing the bull bugling and showing off that handsome rack. Very nice!

You need to click on this one and the darker surround really frames the image so well. Classic bugling behaviour and what beautiful antlers! The b/w works well with this one Terry!

The conversion works so well here, he really stands out against the bright grasses and I suspect in color he may blend in more. Good texture and details in his coat, good bugling pose. Well done.
