From my recent travels to photograph mule deer and whitetails during the rut..   Caught this buck before sunrise.  I got as low as humanly possible without digging a hole to get this perspective.

Now that's one cool portrait Dale, the colour palette is awesome, excellent work. 1/100 SS WOW, but then you know me and my thoughts about SS, LOL.

Beautiful shot. The more images I see from that 100-400 version II the more I like it.

Wow, this is cool!  I guess you lightened it up quite a bit if this was pre-sunrise. It all came together very, very well.

Yeap exposed for the sky keeping the histogram on right and let the other tones fall were they may..   Processed just fine with mo issuies.

Terry the 100-400mm MKII is a great lens.. Had the old version for may years but it doesn't compare optically to the new one.  I may be in the minority but I still prefer the push/pull zoom...
