Young Female Bobcat

Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas.

Nikon D810, 300mm lens, 1.4 TC, 1/160 sec at f/10, ISO 500.

This is a full frame shot with no crop.  Since she was so close, I moved the aperture up to f/10 to try and get as much depth of field as I could.  The far ear was still soft, but hopefully doesn't detract from the image too much.  It looks like the tick population is thriving.

I love the cats. Real good portrait of this bobcat. She has a very focused look. Crisp and sharp too.
