We visited this noisy bunch late in the afternoon when they were just starting to stir. A few took flight to stretch their wings in preparation to leave the roost. Very large and impressive mammals.

D500, 1600th, f6.3, ISO1600, 270mm, 70% full-frame.

How cool just to see one of these let alone to get such a great image of it. Love the details, especially in the wings. Well done!
