Yet another critically endangered species from Madagascar, the Golden Bamboo Lemur. We found an opening amongst the thickets where it presented an almost perfect view of this beautiful subject in its lush habitat.

D500, 1/100th, f6.3, ISO800, 500mm (200-500mm f5.6 lens), full-frame as previous image.
Regards,

Des

Love all lemurs. Have seen many species, but missed this one. Yet another reason to plan another trip.
Good shot. When you find them, they are pretty friendly, But I do remember how tiring it is to keep up with them, so congratulations !

Very sweet image, the eyes connect immediately and help lead the eye to the muted colors of the mosses and other flora giving a real depth to this image.
