A lot of NS photographers at Yellowstone/Tetons the past few weeks. This Ram was a very willing participant. The morning I saw this fellow (and a second Ram with him, their rut hadn't started yet) I have to say there was the nicest Park Ranger managing the scene. It made the Ram Jam enjoyable.

Stan, this is an absolutely gorgeous portrait of this Ram. I think a square or less landscape crop would suit it better. It it were mine I would creep in on the right :)

Nice light and a warm complimentary background. Excellent detail. Those two rams did attract a lot of attention, but nothing like the herd bull in downtown Mammoth. He had to be the single most photographed animal in North America. He had at least 2 rangers assigned at all time to keep the selfie crowd safe.

Beautiful portrait Stan! Sweet detail and colour tones, and love the grass in the mouth as the finishing touch.
