Mother Puma and cub

A mother Puma and cub photographed during a tour to South Chile. These strange rocks, at the edge of a huge lake, are probably of biological origin, stromatolites - sediments trapped in mats of cyanobacteria.

Such a treat to see the cub! Mother looks pretty wary and watchful. I like your composition, the rocks are quite interesting and there's a very nice line and sense of flow created through the image, leading you right to those eyes.

I do agree with the others. This is a rare and stunning moment captured. I like seeing the habitat but wish for a little tighter crop
