A brief encounter at the Tetons.

First Red Fox I have ever photographed. It was tricky as he kept moving in and out of the underbrush.

You managed a nice clear shot without grass in the face, which I'm sure was not easy given the environs. It's unfortunate that the face is in the shadow but it may not have given you an opportunity with both light and clear of the grass. Tough situation and you managed a nice photo.

Excellent image. I like the soft light and the direct eye contact. The uneven lighting makes this a difficult exposure, which you handled well. Lucky to catch him in the open.

My admiration Terry, wonderful shot and well managed to give a clear shot with a delightful light!

Nice shot Terry.
I think this is the fox that was by the Visitors Center at Moose Wilson.
It stayed in the brush the whole time I watched it.

You did well to get such a clear shot in the setting Terry, and the body language captures perfectly the furtive movement of the sly fox!
