Classic behaviour pose and great setting Bob.  There seems to be a  cyan bias in the colour tones and I think a colour correction will give this lovely image the impact it is missing and bring it to life!

Love that North Country-hope to get back up there next Fall.

Nice scene with Athabasca River in the BG.

Agree with Carol on color.

Thank you for the comments.  However, I don't understand the color issue.  I checked this looking at 100% saturation and my white balance software.   I also compared it to my companion's similar photo and her memory of the actual colors that existed at the time.  I believe it is a realistic representation of the colors that existed at the time.  Now, I might agree that it may look better if I darkened it a tiny amount.

Lovely setting with that aqua water behind the elk. I presumed that was a glacially fed stream that gave that color of water. Nice behavior captured, full bugle.

Thank you. Yes, this is water from a glacier. The color was especially nice for this shot, and it was just before the soft light went behind a mountain and the shoot was over.. Lucky shot!

Really nice setting with the Bull in a classic pose. Very nice shot.
I too would be tempted to "warm" the image a bit.

Okay, I give up! I changed the color temperature from 6200 to 7200. I hope everyone likes the warmer color.

Bob, I really liked the first version and probably would go somewhere in between!
Do you have NIK, Color EFEX? Maybe just add the "Brilliance and warmth" filter.
Seriously it is a beautiful environmental shot.

I adjusted the WB again to the middle of the original and the revision. Too bad I can't post both to compare.

Beautiful comp and setting and the bugle is a bonus. I didn't see the original, but the image looks just a tad to warm to me and could use another touch of sharpening on my monitor.

another jewel Bob. I'm with John on the sharpening but would only sharpen the Elk. On the money!
