Yellowstone NP
7D, 500/F4+1.4, F8, 1/800, ISO 800, beanbag.  This buck had just chased 2 rivals away from his harem and stopped briefly to survey his world.  A little tighter on the bottom than I would prefer, but I like the pose he gave me.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

That is the shot David, the light, the head turned and the vegetation at the bottom framing the image are just some of my favorite details about this shot.

As you say, more room at the bottom would make this shot about perfect! One of the best Pronghorn images we've seen here in a long time Dave, the pose, detail and colour tones are beautiful.

Very nice, the soft light and colors are so pleasing, as is the very soft, distant background. I do like this look back pose. My only nit would be the one you already mentioned.
