Rocky Mountain NP. The purpose of visiting was for Rutting Elk, this Mule Deer was bonus material and may have provided the best opportunity of the trip. Fall colors were outstanding this year.

Love the fall colors setting this big fellow off, and he's posed well. The soft light is a bonus too.

My only slight nit - I wish that dead stump/branch wasn't showing over the rump but that is an easy fix if you chose to do so. I love the buck's pose, he is a handsome specimen and the natural setting has a nice depth with the added bonus of really pretty autumn colour. Lovely find, and shot Terry.

Terrific subject, colors and lighting. I like it as is but also agree with Carol's comments.

Great composition Terry, the branches creating that framing are part of what I like about this image!

Excellent image. Nice pose, perspective, and specimen. He really pops nicely off that colorful background.
