Another from the Pantanal in Brazil.  I wanted to try out the high iso performance of this camera so I did when I heard this anteater was crawling around the lodge garden one night.  The anteater was spotlit by a few people which enabled us to focus.  It's not the best image I have taken but it's the best one I have taken at iso 8000.

No flash on this one Jeff.  I would have used a much lower iso if I had been using flash.

It's so amazing how far we've come with decent performance at crazy iso's. Really lets you make useable captures in so many more situations now.

A good illustration of the low light capabilities of equipment now Nate! It definitely gives us much more freedom to capture wildlife at both top and tail of the day - which is often the most active for many species.
