It's been said that a buffalo bull looks at you like you owe him money.

Well, let me tell you, when I spent a few minutes one winter's morning in June all alone with this dude on the Mphongolo road in northern Kruger, I was fumbling for my wallet and my vehicle just before he walked away  :D

The composition is superb, the little trees gives balance to the shot, the light is just perfect and the eye contact is the icing of the cake!!!

The backlight gives this the most wonderful quality, particularly when viewed against the dark background, it has a total 3-d look. Beautiful.

Love the light Morkel. Yes, they are such imposing beasts when you see them close up - especially when out of your vehicle!

Though slightly tight at the top, the light is absolutely divine and exposure spot on. Fantastic one Morkel.
