Star Male from Ranthambhore National Park

Star Male, due to the star shaped black mark above his left eye, is the king of the lakes area which is the most famous area of Ranthambhore, thanks to the numerous documentaries made here. Here he gives me a piercing look on one early summer morning.

Yes the light definitely makes this one, like a spotlight on the cat amid the dark forest. Nice low perspective too.

One of the more impressive and successful tiger images I've seen lately. The side light and the dark background work so well together.
