After 4 weeks at the Peruvian Amazon, just on our last day finally the Monk Saki Monkey decided to come down the tree (usually at the very canopy) to say good by to us.

What a fantastic looking monkey this is, that tail is awesome! Beautiful shot with it clear of all the foliage and the nice diagonal limb as it's "perch".

How wonderful to get such a good shot of this totally arboreal species Jeff, and an excellent view of their iconic tail!  You  must have been so excited that it chose to descend to allow you a closer look - and you certainly got a great image.  Well done!  8)

Thanks so much Carol, I like to think that it was my "See you next year Jeff" in the name of all the amazing creatures of the Peruvian Amazon. I really enjoyed the moment and after that I got the shot. Have a great week!!!
