Picture was taken with the Badger by one of his burrows. I don't often see these out during daylight hours.

I really like this Emil. A lovely view of this badger, great pose, sweet detail and complimentary colour tones - and as you say getting any badger out during daylight hours is a bonus. Nicely done.

As am aside Carol, N. American badgers are not quite as nocturnal as your Euro ones..no one would send a Basset hound or Dachshund down a hole after them or they would come out as ground sausage.

Yes, I appreciate that Mike and our European Badger does come out sometimes during the day as well but seeing them is very rare, and getting a clear shot in daylight a real challenge.  I agree that any dog getting close would suffer badly whether over or under ground!
