Hi everyone, I have just returned from leading our Brazil Photo Tour.  This image was taken on the Three Brothers River on our last Jaguar boat safari. On the left is a year old cub with it's mom on the right.  It was a privilege and thrill to photograph the 2 of them walking the riverbank for about an hour.  I was photographing handheld from a boat so I used a fairly high iso to keep my shutter speed up.  This is cropped a little bit but fairly close to full frame, as you can see we were quite close shooting on a full frame camera with a 300mm lens.

Canon 5D3 300F4 1/2000 F5.6, iso 1600, handheld from safari boat.

Congratulations Nate... you are fortunate to have seen a pair together like this. I would really like to see the young one's body too here.
Regardless, it is a fantastic moment that you've photographed.

Two beautiful healthy looking subjects Nate. Both look in peak condition and you were able to get excellent detail of their distinctive rosette hide patterns. It must have been a wonderful experience to have them so close!
