Blue Wave

A large school of Bogas traveling over one of my favorite dive sites in Curacao N.A. A school like this might take several minutes to pass.
I was filing and reprocessing some old UW shots so I thought I would post this.
Nikon D2x, Aquatica housing, Inon Strobes, f9, ss 1/160, ISO 200, Tokina 10-17mm @10mm (fisheye)

Best viewed on dark screen.

Thanks Gary, the fish supply the art!
If you look slightly above dead center there is a faint shadow. That is my son swimming through the school. I had to wait for his bubbles to clear and thankfully the school was so huge that there were lots of fish going by.

I hope you've done some large prints of this one Stan, they would look amazing!  Wonderful colours and flowing wave formed by the school of fish and their synchronized swimming - this would grace any wall.  8)

This is quite striking.. I can't imagine seeing this phenomenon, let alone photographing it!
