Kayaks are wonderful tools for allowing us to be eye-to-eyel with aquatic mammals. This male sea otter was photographed in the Elkhorn Slough w/ a D500 and the 200-500VR at 480mm and f/8

Wow Bruce what an image, makes me want go and buy a kayak, a different perspective entirely.
