An interesting species to photograph and although the chosen perch shows how well its camouflage works, it doesn't really show it at its best IMO. I think a better set up could take this prickly subject to the next level. Your selective focus shows excellent detail in the head and upper body.

As they are active during the day and agile tree climbers, I think a nice branch with a touch of green leaves (rather than all dead wood) would make a more interesting setting, and a lighter background - like distant foliage or ground colour would be more natural and set the lizard off better - just my 2 cents worth.  8)
