Perhaps not the prettiest of all the "Xenarthra" but yet a nice one to shot!

Pretty isn't everything, Jeff   8)

its good to see such a clear and well detailed shot of this interesting species!  It would be nice to have all the tail but sometimes the 500 lens is just too much when you have to catch the moment.

Great details in this given the soft lighting. Love the richness of the colors, as well as the low perspective that gives eye contact.

Indeed Carol, lovely little critter, and you are totally right, the 500mm where way too much for the distance between us  :oops:

Nice image of a seldom posted species. Selective focus and eye level perspective make this image for me.
